The golden opportunity of this time
One of the most powerful features of this extraordinarily difficult time is that it has stripped us bare of so much on which we rely and, in doing so, encouraging us to re-evaluate what really matters.
Undoubtedly we are discovering the importance of our connection with others. We may have a growing appreciation of the natural world, whether that’s in the confines of our garden or what we observe in our daily outdoor exercise. And perhaps we are remembering or reawakening to the importance of our connection with our self.
As we inhabit this period of enforced isolation we have a golden opportunity to strengthen our practice of deep reflection that, in turn, strengthens our connection with our higher self. In doing so we will be enabling our insights and intuition, our knowing, to flow from a deeper and higher realm.
This knowing is a precious and powerful resource to guide us through the muddle and uncertainty of the world. It increases our discernment of fact from fiction in a way that our knowledge and experience alone can’t given the torrent of information at our fingertips. And it is even more powerful when integrated, in right balance, with our knowledge and experience.
When we are truly connected to the flow of knowing our choices are more conscious and impactful. They are choices that include rather than separate, that take in the bigger picture, that are filled with intention. And ultimately, they are choices focused on making our contribution to the greater good – connecting us with what really matters for all, not just ourselves.
