Surrender – going all in

Start Reading

A few weeks ago, I wrote about the call of surrender and how it brings the opportunity, indeed the requirement, to let go and accept what is.

In the past few weeks, I have learnt even more. It cannot be half hearted, intellectually driven or conceptual.

True surrender requires everything of us. It wants us to release any and all habits, beliefs, attitudes that no longer serve. And if for whatever reason, this is your time to surrender – and I believe in some ways this will be true for many of us – then not going ‘all in’ will result in more triggers to get you there.

At least that’s been my experience in the past months – being called to go ‘all in’ and not try to short circuit the process.

Of course, that’s if some part of your higher self, your soul and personality have connected and together decided that this is your time for the next level of metamorphosis.

Because that’s what follows surrender. All things being equal, we contact other parts of who we are more fully, and these become the next iteration of our evolutionary journey.

Think about the caterpillar to the butterfly – the butterfly can’t become its magnificent, beautiful self if the caterpillar doesn’t surrender to the chrysalis process. The stage of unbecoming in order to realise its destiny.

Humanity is facing this need to surrender – to let go of everything that keeps us stuck in wars, economic greed, consumerism and trashing our beautiful planet home. And our hearts are calling us to this if we can just listen.

Leaders face the need to surrender – to go ‘all in’ for the greater good of Humanity. Whichever organisation, commercial or not, that they lead plays a part in the future of Humanity.

There’s no doubt this requires courage. Not least to face the not knowing…on every level. Not really acceptable in corporate circles, I know and yet…what’s the alternative?

Are we all ready to go ‘all in’, in service of building a truly better world, a truly better life?

Are you ready to rewrite the rules of business? I’d love to help.
